Here's what others are saying
“Tom Griffin has changed my life and health. I started about a year and a half ago. I had paid a few thousand dollars in personal training after I had my daughter and got NO results. I had tried several different gyms, even all women's facilities and nothing worked. I also had no education on nutrition, this is where Tom made all the difference in my life. He taught me about foods and what they do. The foods to eat to get the results I was looking for and he gave me some amazing recipes to get started. He then challenged me and supported me throughout my journey to get toned and fit. I have more energy than ever, I don't get sick as often as I used to and I feel great all the time.
This is a place where you can go and be a part of an amazing team no matter what level of fitness you are at and no matter what your goals are. Everyone there is helpful and friendly. It is a nice family environment where you can go and challenge yourself to the fullest without feeling uncomfortable.” -Nicole |
“As a combat veteran with almost 15 years on active duty and having fought in two different wars (OIF and OEF) I have had the honor of training with some of the greatest warriors this country’s military has to offer. In that time I have seen many true warriors display the focus and intensity, along with the technical ability needed to accomplish the mission at hand; which in this case was to close width and destroy the enemy combatant. Having trained with Tom for the last few years I have had the distinct pleasure of learning many different techniques of life saving combatives combined with the fact that very few civilian martial artists have the focus and intensity (that I had mentioned previously) that is needed in order to survive and destroy your enemy. Tom’s extensive knowledge of not only martial arts but of the human body and physical training methods in my opinion makes him one of the top civilian trainers that I have had the pleasure of training with. Having worked with many professionals there are a few key traits that are needed in order to make a good trainer. Tom displays all of these traits and has the innate ability to remove the outside world from our minds. Coupling this with his motivating focused intensity making every workout/training session with Tom truly a time of training. Combine all of this with his huge caring ability displayed on a regular bases, to not only make you feel a part of the team, but as he has done on many occasions stayed late or showed up early for those of us seeking his knowledge in training. Tom is one of the few professionals that is willing to go the extra mile; with either a genuine smile and laugh, or a stern “You got to be kidding me” face. In short, I can whole heartedly say that Tom is one of the few civilians that I would go into combat with.”

" I just wanted to share my experience and say thank you to my trainer, my friend, Tom. I have been training with Tom for the past 5 years and I feel I am the strongest that I have ever been! I have been a police officer with the Los Angeles Police Department for the past 12 years and I believe fitness is the key to success in my career. My physical and mental condition has improved so much in the past 5 years, I know I can hold my own and overcome any obstacle that comes my way. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! It has been the best 5 years!"

"I have known Tom for approximately 5 years and over this time we have trained in multiple facets of strength and conditioning. Through his prescribed training, I have been to my peak of performance when competing in combat sports, particularly Muay Thai. Our training not only allowed me to hit harder and faster, but it allowed me to train at an optimal rate. Workouts were always different and constantly challenging. The proof is in the training and I owe my winning record to Tom Griffin."

"I'm a retired police sergeant. During my career, I was trained to teach "use of force". I began training with Tom Griffin two years ago in KravHIIT. Tom, owner / head instructor, is very qualified to teach CrossFit, martial arts, boxing, diet, nutrition, weight management, just to name a few. During my forty years of law enforcement, he is the most overall qualified instructor I've met. He understands the prevention and treatment of numerous injuries. There's always a positive atmosphere throughout the gym."

"I have had the great pleasure of training with Tom for the past 5 years. My prior martial experience has included Shotokan and Kempo Karate, traditional Jiu Jitsu and Judo. In the Navy I taught hand-to-hand combat. I have had the good fortune of having many good teachers. Tom is a fantastic instructor who combines his knowledge with humor and discipline. He is an individual that all students appreciate for his depth of knowledge. He always seeks improvements in techniques and modifies techniques to suit the physical limitations of a student. My Black Belt in Krav Maga was in large part due to the generosity of the time Tom put into helping me and my training partner outside of class time."

"For 7 years of my life in my 50s Tom Griffin has been dedicated to coaching my good health and fitness as I have had type 1 diabetic for 58 years. His knowledge, experience and coaching expertise is something that cannot be learned from reading a book, attending a lecture series or watching videos; it’s clear he has a lifetime commitment to helping others. He is unique in directing those of us with some required modifications to be included and welcomed Into any fitness environment. While my issues include brittle ankles, eye pressure and lack of flexibility in ankles and shoulders, we successfully worked together to modify the particular exercises in a way to get the most "bang for my buck" in a safe yet challenging manner. Front squats, back squats, jump rope, running, pull-ups, kipping or kicking, I trust Tom Griffin to make the right choices for me and you should trust him to make the right choices for you.
Tom is very encouraging and most importantly, helped me work through the psychology of my body's aging process. Fitness is now fun and satisfying whether I am in second place or 17th place. Tom is the best."

"I was a student of Tom Griffin in martial arts and fitness for several years. In that time Tom provided top quality instruction that had expanded my skillsets and pushed my body. When I encountered issues Tom could always provide a solution to keep me going or minimize my recovery time. If you’re looking for someone that will make you stronger, faster and harder to kill, or just help you meet and improve your overall fitness, Tom will help you get there."
